Practice day goes off!

So much action, so not many photos, this one was my morning view of the fresh cut.

The kids were on lockdown from run one. The vibe was loose and fun and after a quick breeze through registration we were first up and had the place to ourselves. It never froze last night so we had to throw it into gear early as the conditions were going downhill fast. The fifty degree sun had the mountain feeling like summer at hood and we wasted no time. By the time most crews rolled in our posse was linking contest runs like it was the US Open. Phoebe continues the style and grace with solid bs three's over forty footers, Hunty cab nines, Tierney front seven like it's his job and the whole boys crew took Ians speech last week to heart and stomped a train of bs nines that sent the place into a roar. Who does a train of bs nines? I laughed out loud on the next run when Hunty superman front flipped the big side of the first jump with Mikey and Co. hot on his tail. Too much fun, these guys are ready for tomorrow.

At the stunt ditch guest coach Jackie had Jenn all dialed in even before i rolled down. Jenns smooth airs and tech tricks at the bottom shows her experience and focus coming into this one. I was impressed when after some stomped contest runs she busted into some cab seven trys. A little smoother pipe and the speed will be there, look for it in the future.

Coaches meeting, tuning, and then dinner with guest Saul Cohen tonight should set us straight for a confident nights sleep.

Wish us luck, slope tomorrow.

Mike
