Saturday and Sunday are the last days for the Southern Vermont series finals at Okemo. Okemo really put on a great event for season ender. The weather could have not been any better. The slope coures had by far the biggest jump of the season. Some complain about small jumps,well there was no talk of this 55' table top! The SMS crew stepped to it with out thinking twice. Sunday was the pipe contest and the weather was still awesome. The super pipe was cut perfect and held together well all day. The attiude of the day was great and everyone was in great spirts. It's funny what a little sunshine will do for the soul. After the pipe event everyone headed down to Out back pizza for the season ender party. Scott Palmer put on one great party. He had more giveaway bags then ever. Ross Powers was even there to hand out the half pipe awards and sign some posters. It's nice to see that Ross will never forget where he came from. It's sad to see the season end for us here on the eastcoast. For the ones who have made it to nationals,the season continues!
